Dino Blanche
For over forty years, Dino Blanche has been teaching visual arts, martial arts and
designing awarded arts and education programs. His visual arts programs at the Cooper Union Saturday Program, at Jamaica Center for Art, and at ABC No Rio, in New York City, have been a part of a national consortium of organizations sponsored by the Lila Wallace (Reader’s Digest) Foundation.
He is the founder of The LAUGHING RIVER® Martial Arts School, and a teacher of Taoist and Zen philosophy. At the largest martial arts event of Long Island, New York, Just For Champions, Dino Blanche was presented with the 2010 Hall of Fame - Platinum Warrior Lifetime Achievement Award, commemorating his 37 years in the martial arts.
Dino Blanche has won numerous programs for artist-in-residence at: the Longwood Arts
Project at P.S. 39, in the Bronx, New York, 1989; at the Henry Street Settlement Art Center in New York City, 1990; and the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation in New York City, 1993. In 1989, he won the grant for study, Sponsored Work, from the New York State Council of the Arts.

Wed Memories To Dreams
For decades I have been making visual art and practicing martial arts (Tai Chi and Jujitsu). Both my practice of visual and martial arts are about the Chi (Qi) life force energy, the energy that flows through everything.
I am an African-American visual Artist from Queens, New York City. I have always been
interested in the magic of life.
My artwork is a means for me to chart the inner terrain of my psyche. I am creating portals to my ancestral spirits.
Making artwork for me is a long meditative process of listening, affirming and concretizing the ethereal. I delineate biomorphic beings and sacred spaces.
These apparitions are ancient yet futuristic, familiar and yet never seen before. My proposed sculpture for ‘Venice Masked’ is called ‘Wed Memories to Dreams.’
It is to be in the courtyard of the Palazzo Ducale, in Venice, Italy, at the corner of the East and the South wing, juxtaposed to the Scala dei Giganti. The concept is a wedding, a ceremonialprocession, a celebration in honor of the people of Venice.
Sposare La Memoria Ai Sogni
Per decenni stavo fabbricando arte visive e praticando arti marziali (Tai Chi e Jujitsu.) Sia la mia pratica di arti visive che di arti marziali sono l'energia della forza vitale Chi (Qi,) l'energia che fluisce attraverso ogni cosa.
Sono un Artista visivo Africano-Americano del Queens, New York City. Sono sempre stato interessato nella magia della vita.
La mia opera d'arte è un mezzo per me per tracciare il terreno interiore della mia psiche. Sto creando portali per i miei spiriti ancestrali.
Fare opere d'arte per me è un lungo processo meditativo di ascoltare, affermando e concretizzando l'etereo. Delineo esseri biomorfici e spazi sacri.
Queste apparizioni sono antiche ma futuristiche, familiari eppure mai viste prima.
La mia scultura proposta per ‘Venice Masked’ si chiama ‘Wed Memories to Dreams.’
Esso e da essere nel Cortile di Palazzo Ducale, a Venezia, all'angolo dell'ala Est e quella del Sud, giustapposta alla Scala dei Giganti. Il concept è un matrimonio, una processione cerimoniale, una celebrazione in onore del popolo di Venezia.
