Al-Saadan graduated with a Bachelor Degree in architecture in Iraq 25 years ago and worked for architectural firms in Iraq and Jordan before working in Dubai for 16 years. He moved subsequently to the USA and joined to be part of Milestone Architecture. As an Architectural Project Manager, he has a proven experience in architectural design, project management, and multidiscipline coordination for many mixed-use developments, commercial, and industrial projects. He is ranked as a Consultant Architect in Iraq and is oriented towards sustainable design, certified by NFPA, the RPIE of the Cooper Union, New York City, and by OSHA.
Al-Taie completed his Bachelor Degree in architecture and a Master Degree in urban planning, in Iraq. He has more than 25 years of experience between Iraq, Jordan, Dubai, and Qatar. The characteristic mark of his works of design is the dialogue of spaces, masses, and building elements in a sustainable and creative way that gives each design its own unique personality. His work experience in different countries has fostered his ability to follow design development with meticulous concept detailing.

Al-Saadan si laureò con una Laurea Quinquennale in architettura in Iraq 25 anni fa e lavorò con studi di architetti in Iraq e Giordania prima di lavorare a Dubai per 16 anni. Si trasferì successivamente negli USA e si unì a Milestone Architecture. Come Responsabile del Progetto Architettonico, lui ha comprovata esperienza in progettazione progettuale, e nel coordinamento multidisciplinare di molti sviluppi a uso misto, commerciali, e industriali. Lui è riconosciuto come Architetto Consulente in Iraq ed è orientato verso il design sostenibile, certificato dalla NFPA, dalla RPIE della Cooper Union, New York, e dalla OSHA.
Al-Taie ha completato la sua Laurea Quinquennale in architettura e una Laurea Magistrale in pianificazione urbana, In Iraq. Ha più di 25 anni di esperienza tra Iraq, Giordania, Dubai, e il Qatar. Il tratto caratteristico delle sue opere di design sta nel dialogo tra gli spazi, le masse, e gli elementi edilizi in un linguaggio sostenibile e creativo che rende unica la personalità di ogni progetto di design. Lavorare in diversi paesi gli ha permesso di aggiungere alla propria esperienza l’interesse allo sviluppo del design per assicurare alle diverse tematiche di essere realizzate nei minimi dettagli.
Urban Masks
Inspiration During the Pandemic
Venice, Italy, a city rising from the sea time and again, has always been like a phoenix, creating her own mythology and weaving the image of the phoenix into the very fabric of her urban existence. Venice’s compact urban spaces have always defined Venetians’ social interactions and the city has subsequently created her own vibrant and mysterious elements of dialogue and communication. In fact, Venice is a unique form of theater in her own right. Building on the metaphor of the phoenix, “Urban Masks” uses tower elements to reflect the rising phoenix which regenerates itself in the face of natural disasters; in this case, the current global pandemic. Incorporating the iconic elements of the Venetian mask and curtains from the theater, “Urban Masks” creates possibilities of interaction and dialogue by using wall openings with geometrical or free shapes representing a mask and theater curtains. Keeping in mind sustainability, the proposed elements are created with thin recyclable plates which are folded theater curtain-like, in accordion profile, and assembled to produce various building elements such as posts, walls, girders, floors, and street furniture.
Maschere Urbane
Ispirazione Durante la Pandemia
Venezia, una città che sorge di volta in volta dal mare, è sempre stata come una fenice, creando la propria mitologia e tessendo l’immagine della fenice nel tessuto stesso della propria esistenza. I compatti spazi urbani di Venezia hanno sempre definito le interazioni sociali dei veneziani e la città ha successivamente creato i propri elementi vibranti e misteriosi di dialogo e di comunicazione. Infatti, Venezia è una forma teatro unica nel suo genere. Ispirato dalla metafora della fenice “Maschere Urbane” usa elementi della torre per riflettere la fenice risorgente, che si rigenera di fronte ai disastri naturali; in questo caso la pandemia globale. Incorporando gli elementi iconici della maschera veneziana e del sipario del teatro, “Maschere Urbane” crea possibilità di interazione e dialogo usando aperture murali con forme geometriche o libere che rappresentano maschere o sipari. Tenendo a mente la sostenibilità, gli elementi proposti sono creati con sottili strati riciclabili che sono piegati come sipari teatrali, a profilo di fisarmonica, ed assemblati per produrre elementi da costruzione come pali, pareti, travi maestre, pavimenti, e arredo urbano.
